The Global Strategics Initiatives (GSI) team is the strategic arm of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Site Procurement Operations (SPO) team. GSI is focused on the development and delivery of SPO’s long-term goals by implementing standardized processes, KPIs, reporting, and governance mechanisms. The EUK GSI Program Manager, reporting to the Leader of GSI, is responsible for representing local EU requirements while delivering SPO Global Programs and Projects within the EU region. The role will collaborate with a team of program managers overseeing cross-SPO pillar strategic initiatives, while driving project performance enhancements and process optimization. Key job responsibilities This role collaborates closely with SPO and GPO Leaders, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders at all organizational levels to execute and realize comprehensive global improvement strategies aligned with business objectives. Additionally, this role partners with SPO Pillar single-threaded leaders (STLs) to ensure successful project outcomes to enable the delivery of SPO's vision and strategic imperatives. • Approximately 30% travel Basic Qualifications - Experience leading process improvements - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications - Experience in program or project management - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
