About the team and the role:
The Partner Solutions Architect is a pivotal role within eBay’s Partner Network, designed to enhance collaboration between our internal teams and external partners.
This position requires a strategic problem solver who can engage with key partners to understand their business models, technological capabilities, and strategic objectives. The Partner Solutions Architect will drive incremental growth and enhance value for all partners.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our solutions align with the expectations and needs of all partners, driving successful development and implementation of product solutions, to enable further growth of eBay’s affiliate marketing program.
What you will accomplish:
1. Engage proactively with marketing partners to gain insights into their business models and technological capabilities, finding opportunities for tailored product offerings.
2. Facilitate effective communication between Product, Engineering, and Partner Management teams to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
3. Focus on designing novel concepts for scalable solutions that meet common technological needs across multiple partners.
4. Integrate partner feedback to guide future enhancements and maintain competitive offerings.
What you will bring:
1. 3+ years of proven experience in product management or technical account management, showcasing your ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal teams and customers.
2. Experience in Business Analytics, working with SQL or similar query languages, to support data-driven decision making.
3. Prior experience in AdTech/MarTech, with a comprehensive understanding of the online advertising industry, its use-cases, challenges, technologies, and key players.
4. Passion for transforming needs and business opportunities into successful product solutions is evident.
5. Outstanding skills in translating technical opportunities and solutions for business partners, as well as conveying business opportunities and constraints to technical teams.
6. You are adept at leading client-facing discussions and workshops, confidently convincing decision-makers of your strategic vision.
7. Experience in the development or implementation of products based on modern web technologies, such as RESTful APIs or gRPC, messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, or large data set processing and distribution, like data feeds.
