As a Chapter Lead Architect ( m/f), you will lead and manage a team of architects responsible for middleware squads delivering advanced IT services.
Your main responsibilities:
* Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment between architecture solutions and the organization’s goals
* Oversee the design and development of middleware solutions to ensure they meet functional, technical, and security requirements
* Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for middleware technologies
* Work closely with middleware squads to ensure that architectural designs are properly implemented and maintained
* Collaborate with other chapter leads, product owners, and squad members to align architecture objectives with overall project goals
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between middleware architects and other technical teams.
* Drive initiatives to optimize middleware architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
* Identify and implement emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance middleware services and capabilities
* Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for middleware architecture-related queries and decisions
* Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on architecture strategies, progress, and challenges
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure middleware solutions align with consumer needs and expectations
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Extensive experience (min 7 years) in IT architecture, with a focus on middleware solutions
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop technical teams
* Strong expertise in middleware technologies such as WebLogic, API Gateway, and containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
* Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
* Experience in a public administration or similarly complex environment is desirable
