Job Description
Our department is a key part of the Electric Solutions development division within Bosch Home Comfort Group. Our mission is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of products throughout their entire service life. We actively contribute to new product development through technical risk management and validation. The internationally oriented group focuses on the rapidly growing electric heat pump sector, a crucial component for sustainable energy solutions in the building industry. We are looking for a motivated intern with a strong background in Excel and data analysis to join our team in Wernau.
1. As an intern, you will ensure the functionality and accuracy of a field data reporting tool, incorporating key feature enhancements.
2. You will make necessary adjustments to keep the tool flexible and responsive to evolving needs.
3. Furthermore, you will also assist the reliability engineering team with various lab and project related tasks.
4. Finally, you will analyse field data using Python (with libraries such as pandas, matplotlib and sklearn) to extract actionable insights from field data.
Qualifications
5. Education: Master‘ studies in the field of Data Science, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
6. Experience and Knowledge: highly proficient in Excel, with strong skills in data manipulation, formulas and advanced features; experience with Python and data science libraries such as pandas, matplotlib and sklearn is an advantage; proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
7. Personality and Working Practice: you are a motivated person who learns quickly and works well in a team
8. Enthusiasm: passionate about working with data, creating insightful analytics and contributing to innovative heat pump technology
9. Languages: fluent in English or German

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
