To strengthen our team in the area of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Department (SRA) in Trier, we are looking for a Material Assessment Manager (f/m/d) in permanent employment.

Your tasks:
1. Technical and scientific regulatory interpretation for JTI products as such: technical and scientific regulatory interpretation worldwide pertaining to JTI products
2. Conduction of regulatory compliance checks for potential new ingredients and assessment of product regulatory compliance for product launches in new markets as such: regulatory compliance assessments for potential new ingredients and assessment of product regulatory compliance for product launches in new markets
3. Collaboration with Agile Testing & Packaging Assessment Team to construct and perform material testing
4. Qualification of materials, including SRA input in PLM and the Change Order approval in SAP
5. Retrieval of new component formulations from JTI worldwide suppliers and manufacturers under appropriate confidentiality arrangements
Your profile:
6. Relevant educational background: University degree in a scientific field, preferably chemistry/biology/ biochemistry/toxicology
7. Practical experience: Sound experience (1-5 years) in the tobacco / FMCG / pharmaceutical industry
8. Valuable knowledge: Knowledge of worldwide regulations and standards concerning tobacco products, reduced-risk products and electrical consumer goods
9. Special strengths: Profound knowledge of MS Office, SAP knowledge as a plus, fluency in English, proficiency in other languages is advantageous
10. Suitable personality: Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, agility knowledge is an asset, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
