We are seeking an experienced IT Director to shape our IT strategy and build a robust technology infrastructure that supports our growth and innovation goals. This role is critical to ensuring our IT systems and processes remain at the forefront of the industry. You will lead the IT function, implement best-in-class tools and practices, and align IT objectives with business goals.
As IT Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, data security, and scalability, enabling us to maintain our edge in the electric and autonomous vehicle market.
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Identify and implement technologies that enhance business efficiency and scalability.
Team Management:
* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of the IT department.
Infrastructure & Systems:
* Design, deploy, and maintain a secure and scalable IT infrastructure to support rapid growth.
* Oversee the implementation of enterprise systems, software, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
* Ensure robust data security protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
* Mitigate risks and safeguard sensitive company and customer data.
Operational Excellence:
* Monitor and optimize IT processes, driving continuous improvement.
* Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
* Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on IT matters.
* Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and partners.
Your Profile:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT teams and infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a deep tech startup experiencing rapid growth.
* Proven expertise in designing and managing scalable IT systems and infrastructure.
* In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, cloud computing, enterprise software, and IT compliance.
* Strong strategic thinking with a track record of aligning IT initiatives to business goals.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Experience in automotive or related technology industries is a plus.
