This role is for a self-driven sales professional with significant knowledge and experience working in the medical device or TIC industry. The successful candidate will need to have the commercial skills and technical credibility to build significant customer relationships and partnerships to achieve business targets. This is a field-based role which will involve travel within the UK and Ireland.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell TÜV SÜD services and products to new and current medical device manufacturers requiring certification and/or testing services
Maintain and leverage own network to build relationships and partnerships with new and potential clients
Working with the technical teams, prepare quotes and follow up on sales enquiries/proposal from customers
Support the high-profile key accounts, maintaining and developing relationships at various levels
Maximize revenues with existing customers and build new customer relationships, achieving established revenue targets
Research, identify and prospect for potential new clients and convert opportunities. Prepare target lists of clients as per defined marketing strategy
Identify and win new customers to achieve personal and business sales targets
Be able to identify and provide solution-based packages from TÜV SÜD’s service portfolio
Must be abide to strict compliance processes and procedures as required by the medical device regulations
Ensure that sales data is tracked, recorded and managed within the company’s CRM
Conduct sales visits/sales presentation to clients to ensure all sales targets are achieved
Assist with analysing business practices and recommending process improvements for MHS certification department. This includes reviews and evaluation of pricing strategy for various certification services.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, provide feedback and information on markets and trends, and participate in sales campaigns with the support of the marketing department
Travel as required in the UK and Republic of Ireland
Qualifikationen
Essential Criteria:
Technical or business degree/qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in the medical device and/or TIC industry
Background in, or experience selling services or solutions in testing, auditing, and certification
High level, professional outside selling, utilizing a consultative approach and strong territory management
Ability to understand and apply technical requirements and put together pricing and technical quotations
Must be personable and work well independently, as well as in a team environment
Must be confident, highly efficient, self-motivated, and results orientated
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Tenacious, professional business developer with a track record of achieving their business targets
Relationship builder with sound commercial skills and experience of closing deals at all levels
Ability to generate own sales leads with an existing network
A flexible approach and willingness to travel across the UK and Republic of Ireland
Full and valid UK driving licence
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience within a test and certification organisation/Notified Body
A good understanding of understanding of the EU Medical Device Regulations (MDR/IVDR)
