Responsibilities
1. Support the processing and management of the entire process associated with incoming: Issuance, amendment and cancellation requests for international guarantees
2. Support the processing and management of the entire process associated with incoming: Issuance, amendment, document presentation and cancellation requests for import and export letters of credit
3. Ensure that all transactions are conducted in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
4. Act as first point of contact for our customers and discuss with them operational specificities of their requests ( required changes on guarantee texts or discrepancies on LC documents)
5. Fee monitoring / management /debiting (MT499 processing) / preparation of invoices in close dialogue and alignment with back office
6. Prepare internal / external monthly business reports and other relevant reporting / statistics
7. Reporting to Deputy GTB Head of Client Service
8. Close cooperation with GTB Front Office and support of Senior Trade Bankers
9. Support with execution of Permanent Supervision Controls
Profile required
10. University degree in Finance/business administration or related area
11. Deep knowledge of trade finance products (letters of credit, guarantees, etc.)
12. 5 + years of working in a Trade Finance Department in a Bank
13. Strong capacity for teamwork
14. Client oriented attitude (internally and externally)
15. Profound MS Office skills
16. Fluency in German and English (written and oral) is essential, French is of advantage
17. Solution-oriented and flexible working style
18. Pro-active team-player
19. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
20. Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal
21. Ability to learn and work in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse environment
22. Ability to escalate in an adequate manner
