GILBANE is seeking to hire a Security Manager to support our upcoming project in Wiesbaden, Germany.

This role reports to the Director of Site Security and will primarily sit in an office.

Responsibilities
1. Serve as the liaison with police department to insure an effective police presence at project sites or at company events, when needed
2. Work with the Director of Site Security to develop a security strategy for labor disruptions
3. Work with the Director of Site Security to develop security standards for project sites
4. Conduct initial reviews on new construction development sites and recommend security planning strategies
5. Coordinate security strategies with project sites in the city
6. File complaint reports with police department, as required, regarding any crimes or attempted crimes at targeted sites
7. Investigate and gather evidence on labor disruptions and associated activity
8. Maintain case files all investigations specifically those related to criminal complaints and associated NLRB violations
9. Continually review targeted sites or sites identified as High Risk to review and upgrade security protection
10. Insure contracted security vendor’s guards are familiar with and have been trained regarding the Gilbane’s security strategy for labor disruptions in order to guarantee a coordinated response;
11. Conduct random off-hour visits to targeted sites, and sites identified as High Risk, to review security preparedness
12. Provide threat assessments for and coordination of personal protection of Gilbane executives
13. Coordinate selection of security equipment for project sites
14. Coordinate security support with contractors
15. Conduct onsite construction security, physical security, and blast assessment surveys of Government facilities or potential sites worldwide
16. Write reports detailing the potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies based on these surveys
17. Investigate and inspect circumstances to resolve events that impact security
18. Oversee security-related activities, including, construction security planning and monitoring; participating in security oversight inspections; liaising with representatives of other Government agencies; contingency planning
19. Manage the Construction Security Plan under ICS/ICD 705-1 guidelines
20. Prepare DD254 forms for subcontractors and coordinated visitor requests through DISS
21. Prepare and package eqip clearance upgrades for employees
22. Conduct security briefings for new employees
23. Coordinate with the Client for material handling, delivery, and inspections
24. Manage personnel and equipment site access
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
25. Previous experience in A/E/C industry preferred
26. Previous experience in law enforcement preferred
27. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
28. Prior US Government/military project experience is preferred
29. Must have a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
30. Project Management experience is essential
