About the job:
* Provide and distribute cross-asset structured products to BBVA institutional clients under their responsibility in Germany, Eastern Europe, and the Nordics.
* Develop new investment product formats according to local needs.
* Clients profile:
o Banks
o Private banks
o Asset managers
o Insurance companies
o Distributors
o Brokers
* Enhance our Cross Asset digital platform on Equity, Credit, FX, and Rates through new features and pay-offs.
* Develop and maintain client relationships, providing them with derivatives ideas and ad-hoc solutions to satisfy their investment and/or hedging needs.
* Work closely with various stakeholders like Structuring, Trading, QIS, MTN, Client Coverage, and other Sales teams globally.
* The transactions range from standardized structures to complex solutions.
* Daily client coverage.
* Onboarding of new clients.
* Looking for new business opportunities.
* Coordinate client requests with different teams at BBVA in Madrid: Trading, Structuring, Research, EMTN, Legal, Middle Office, and Back Office.
* Interact with clients by phone/chat and organize visits together with different Global Markets units (e.g., Structuring and Research). Reinforce BBVA relationships with clients. Develop Structured Products Sales Business with French Institutional clients.
This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification. It will be necessary to accurately inform the name of the certification in order to collate the information.
Academic and professional background:
* Academic background from Business/Engineering School with specialization in Finance.
* Minimum 10 years solid experience in a bank or asset manager or financial institution on equity derivatives sales or portfolio manager with a strong client focus.
* Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and structured products offered under Public Offer format in Germany.
Languages:
* Fluent in German and English.
* Spanish and/or other European languages will be valued.
