We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven User Acquisition Lead to join our team and take charge of our media buying efforts. This is a key leadership role, where you will work closely with our core team to scale user acquisition campaigns and drive measurable growth.
We’re a small startup with a tight-knit team, so this role is hands-on and independent (for now). In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across key platforms, with an initial focus on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads. You’ll bring a data-driven mindset and a deep understanding of user behavior to refine targeting strategies, improve ROI, and unlock new opportunities for growth.
As we expand, you’ll have the opportunity to explore additional channels, experiment with innovative acquisition strategies, and contribute to shaping the future of our customer acquisition framework. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Develop, launch, and manage user acquisition (UA) campaigns across performance-focused advertising channels.
* Optimize audience targeting and bidding strategies to maximize return on investment, increasing focus on high-converting segments while scaling back underperforming ones.
* Collaborate with the core team to improve user experience, enhance conversion rates, and align on features that complement marketing efforts.
* Drive App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives to boost app visibility and increase downloads.
* Innovate with event structures and advanced bidding techniques to enhance the efficiency of CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) campaigns.
* Work closely with core team to analyse data and to evaluate campaign performance and refine strategies for ongoing improvement.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity, adjusting acquisition strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
* Over 4/5 years of experience in mobile advertising, with a strong focus on user acquisition.
* Demonstrated success managing paid mobile marketing campaigns across platforms, including networks like IronSource.
* Hands-on expertise in working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Adjust.
* Proven skills in App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve discoverability and download rates.
* A data-driven approach, with experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable insights through clear reporting.
* In-depth knowledge of mobile attribution and performance tracking methods.
* A proven history of managing large-scale, high-budget campaigns across diverse advertising networks.
* A passion for mobile apps, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the app ecosystem.
