Purchasing Specialist (f/m/x)
Your responsibilities
1. Manage the end-to-end direct procurement processes, ensuring efficient planning and handling of purchase orders.
2. Collaborate closely and proactively with our European and US suppliers, including conducting supplier assessments.
3. Facilitate seamless communication with distribution, product management, marketing, warehouse teams, and forwarding agents.
4. Actively monitor and follow up on timelines with suppliers and related departments to guarantee timely product availability.
5. Drive process improvements and enhance communication across all involved parties.
Your profile
1. Successfully completed commercial training (e.g., as a foreign trade or forwarding agent) or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
2. Relevant professional experience in supply chain management or purchasing.
3. SAP knowledge is desirable, with S/4 experience being a plus.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
5. Fluency in both English and German, spoken and written.
6. A team player with a strong hands-on mentality.
