Head of F&C Airborne & Space (f/m/d)

Summary: We are looking for a “Head of F&C Airborne & Space Radars (f/m/d)” in the “Finance & Controlling (F&C) Radar and Naval Solutions” department at the Ulm or Immenstaad site as soon as possible. The “Finance & Controlling (F&C) Radar and Naval Solutions” department acts as a business partner and is responsible for all commercial matters of the Naval & Ground Radars business unit (BU).
Your Tasks:
* As Business Partner of the Business Unit Head Airborne & Space Radars, responsible for the management and execution of all commercial tasks associated with the BU in the processing of offers and orders, as well as the performance of all control and management tasks for the realization of all business and commercial objectives of the BU.
* Technical and disciplinary management of the F&C Airborne & Space Radars team.
* Responsible for the management and implementation of strategic and operational BU planning as well as business planning, forecasting and outlooks.
* Initiating alternative planning, leading the development and implementation of corrective measures to achieve the planned BU results and cash flow.
* Co-management of the awarding of contracts to internal and external parties.
* Monitoring contract fulfillment by consortium partners and subcontractors in close cooperation with the BU manager and, in the event of delayed contract fulfillment, initiating appropriate measures to secure Hensoldt's claims and managing contract amendments.
* Participation and control of financial aspects in the development of BU, program/project and product structures including project plans.
* Initiating, supporting and participating in the definition and implementation of corresponding optimization/improvement projects.
* Initiating and supporting the economic development of the business unit.
* Supporting continuous workload planning together with the relevant stakeholders to secure resources.
Willingness to travel on business is required.
Your Profile:
* Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, business administration or comparable training/further development.
* Extensive experience in finance/controlling and project management.
* Several years of experience in proposal preparation, negotiation and order processing of complex projects/programs in a national and international environment.
* Several years of management experience desirable.
* Intercultural skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills, as well as very good communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders.
* Ability to think in an interdisciplinary way and a creative and solution-oriented way of working.
* Business fluent in German and English, further foreign language skills an advantage.
