About the Role In this role, you will lead a regional EMC validation team and operations of EMC laboratory. The regional team is responsible for execution of regional and global projects ensuring EMC validation is delivered in time, at the right quality and lowest cost. Your Team : Up to 8 direct reports; Engineers/Technicians What You Will Do Lead a regional EMC validation team and supervise EMC lab operation to ensure assigned regional projects and tasks completed in cost, time and quality Manage and escalate customer critical issues by immediate involving with correct team and remove roadblocks. Manage and control EMC validation related spending and resource allocating. Ensure global EMC validation process and work procedures are followed locally Improve EMC lab execution and efficiency via metrics and KPIs Identify the work force resources, capital equipment, facilities and other expense needs for annual budget planning. For all FTEs and contractors, develop performance objectives, monitor performance, and conduct performance evaluations. Plan, monitor and adjust workload and assignments of staff to ensure that HARMAN and customer requirements are met in time, quality and budget. Support initiatives and activities driving the global EMC and Product Reliability strategy. Maintain and obtain required OEM approvals, accreditation and ISO 17025 certificate. What You Need Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) or appropriate graduation. 8 years EMC qualification experince 5 years’ managerial experience within EMC qualification Experience of setting up EMC validation labs and customer accreditations. Strong EMC knowledge in automotive industrial. Well understand of electronics and telecommunications. Advanced management and test solutions knowledge for automotive industries. Experience with setting up metrics and KPIs for driving continues improvement Excellent English capabilities verbally and in writing What is Nice to Have Familiar with ISO17025 or IATF 16949 Familiar with Automotive international EMC standards. Knowledge in automotive OEM specs is a plus. Well trained in problem solving methodology.
