YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Applying for and acquiring research projects focused on the application of quantitative methods
* Implementing research projects together with the responsible professors
* Writing interim and final reports
* Writing publications and presentations based on research findings
* Building and maintaining networks with project partners and contracting entities
* Assuming coordination and organisational tasks in the Applied Economic Research Centre of Excellence
* Supporting teaching efforts and thesis projects in the area of empirical methods
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* You have a completed university degree (Master or equivalent) in economics, social sciences or psychology
* A relevant PhD is preferable
* You have experience in applying for, acquiring and implementing third-party funded research
* You possess considerable expertise in quantitative (particularly statistical-econometric) methods and a solid understanding of statistics software such as SPSS, Stata and/or R
* You are fluent in both written and spoken German and English (C1 or better per CEFR)
* You are structured, autonomous and proactive at work, and you possess excellent conceptual and analytical thinking
* You are a good communicator, work well with others and are very organised
* You have or are willing to acquire gender and diversity competencies
* Basic knowledge of experimental behavioural research and/or qualitative methods is welcome
