Interested in building bridges between business and digital? As our Senior Digital Manager, you have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and manage key projects that shape the digital presence of our organization. As a member of the Digital Channels team and based in our Düsseldorf headquarters, you join a functional team of 10 digital professionals with global responsibility. The team currently sits in Denmark, The Netherlands and Belgium and is part of the Group Communications and Brand (GCB) function. In your role you help leaders, marketeers, and content creators to successfully promote how GEA engineers for a better world.
Roles and responsibilities
1. Roadmap steering : Lead the development and implementation of the strategic roadmap for GEA’s company website, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital best practices. This includes the ownership of our Sitecore CMS and other digital platforms.
2. Project management : Oversee digital projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
3. Supplier coordination : Collaborate with external suppliers (both creative and technical) to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet our standards and expectations.
4. Internal stakeholder coordination : Act as a liaison between various internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment. This involves close collaboration with all teams across the Group Communications and Brand function and divisional marketing functions at GEA.
5. Operational support : Provide hands-on support for digital operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance as needed.
6. Data analysis : Analyze digital performance data, identify patterns, and derive actionable recommendations to enhance digital strategies and operations, and support strengthening of GEA’s external and internal reputation.
Your Profile / Qualifications
7. Digital innovator with excellent interpersonal skills: Strong at building relationships and leading project teams; passionate about advancing digital communication and driving innovative solutions
8. University degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
9. You work in a structured and precise manner, pay attention to detail, have a strong awareness of quality and the ambition to establish the best product solutions and the best user experience for our customers
10. 5+ years of relevant work experience
11. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
12. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and solutions, including Content Management Systems (CMS)
13. High level of proficiency in written and spoken German and English
14. Experience with end-user training and support
15. High level of self-motivation to achieve goals and the drive to achieve success together as a team with competence to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization
