Agile Service Development Product Owner (m/f/d) - System Maintenance
Job Description
Your role:
As a Product Owner, you work in an Agile team on the design, definition, and development of Services meant to build a System Maintenance Services offering for the Philips HPM product portfolio.
In your team, you will help Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring to better define, structure, and commercialize its service offerings for life cycle activities such as Corrective Maintenance, Warranty, Unit Repair, Parts Replacement, Preventive Maintenance to Upgrades and Updates.
You will play a pivotal role in defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features in alignment with our business objectives. You will act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product meets user needs while delivering business value.
Key areas of responsibilities:
* Contributes to and reviews program vision, roadmap, and content presentations
* Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation/prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog. Drafts the team’s specific objectives for the program increment
* Defines iterations and stories for the team(s). Builds, edits, reviews, and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog coordinating dependencies with other POs
* Has the primary responsibility for maintaining the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s).
* Defines stories and provides input for user story details and priorities, establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline/the final iteration plan.
* Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing.
* Facilitates and leads refinement sessions
* Knows the customers well and uses that knowledge in the role
* Takes data-driven decisions
* May define functional and non-functional requirements as well as the user interface.
* Identifies gaps between current system and client/market needs
* Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies
* Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers
* Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective iterations
* Participates in team demos and retrospectives.
* Works with other product owners to produce the system demo, delivers system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
* May ensure validation of the system with the client
You are the right fit if you:
* Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business or technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in Customer Support
* Possess proven experience in product support and product life cycle processes
* Understand support requirements from a customer point of view
* Understand Service Level objectives and how to translate them into tangible requirements for a support service offering
* Have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
* Exhibit excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Can translate business needs into detailed product requirements.
* Have experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within scope.
* Can communicate effectively also in large groups to work towards a shared objective
* Are used to working within an ITIL process framework (preferably ITIL practitioner)
* Have experience in LEAN methodology and Change Management. Exhibit the technical knowledge to review and evaluate service requirements and design documentation. Fluent in the English language.
