The Role We are looking for a Director, Product Management (Consumer Discovery) to evolve our global recommendations & search stack, champion the vision of one unified Discovery Engine, and pioneer agentic LLM‑powered experiences that make choosing what to order effortless. You will lead and grow a team of talented Product Managers while partnering with Engineering, Data Science, and brand product teams to rethink the traditional search stack and unlock experiences once considered impossible. What You’ll Do Define the discovery vision & long term roadmap : Set strategy for search, recommendations, and personalization across app, chat, voice, and emerging interfaces—while proactively scouting AI and commerce trends to surface high‑potential experiments that unlock new revenue streams. Build & evangelize agentic search : Design, launch, and iterate on LLM‑powered conversational and retrieval‑augmented experiences; drive adoption by running demos, workshops, and training to align Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Commercial stakeholders. Own commercial impact : Tie every major project to clear business KPIs—GMV lift, conversion improvements, cost efficiencies—and report ROI to senior leadership. Drive a data‑informed culture : Empower PMs and cross‑functional partners with self‑serve analytics, experimentation frameworks, and storytelling skills so that quantitative and qualitative data—from funnels and cohorts to user interviews and field studies—fuel rapid, insight‑led decisions. Own metrics end‑to‑end : Define KPI trees and review metrics daily/weekly; rapidly experiment to hit ambitious GMV & engagement targets. Scale & coach talent : Hire, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of Product Managers with deep AI/ML expertise, fostering a culture of learning and psychological safety. Drive stakeholder alignment : Rally cross‑functional partners—Engineering, Data, UX, Commercial, and brand product teams—behind a common roadmap and phased rollout plan.
