Could you be the full time World Class Manufacturing / Special Process and Smart Tools (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Olaf Schmiedel and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
1. Manage and align all WCM (World Class Manufacturing) networks linked to RSC (Rolling Stock and Components) activities in the Central and Northern Europe (CNE) region.
2. Manage a group of local Special Processes coordinators in the CNE (Central and Northern Europe) region.
3. Contribute to the global Special Processes strategy definition, including process and technology roadmap.
4. Lead Special Processes deployment, including maturity increase of all processes and personal development.
5. Report and communicate with Headquarters (located in Paris), management of Plant Directors, and other departments at the site in the CNE (Central and Northern Europe) region.
6. Achieve deliverables defined in collaboration with the Process and Manufacturing Engineering Directors and Industrial Head of the Central and Northern Europe region.
7. Support the management of the plant and all manufacturing-related areas, including Industrial Planning, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Test and Commissioning, by collaborating with PME (Process and Manufacturing Engineering) directors and Special Processes (SP) site leaders.

8. A degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field.
9. Advanced degrees or certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are advantageous.
10. Proficiency in manufacturing processes and technologies.
11. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement techniques, and quality management systems.
12. Experience with smart tools and technologies, and data analytics.
13. Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in roles focused on process improvement and efficiency.
14. Experience in managing special processes that require specific technical expertise.
15. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
16. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
17. Advanced English and German language skills (C1 or above)
18. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
