Make your mark for patients Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) who is detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong communicator to join us in our Supply Chain team, based in Monheim, Germany. About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure optimized transparency on German in-market product demand and drive best forecasting accuracy. You will be responsible for generating updated monthly sales forecasts (SIOP) in collaboration with local key stakeholders and ensuring continuous product supply by working closely with UCB production sites, local Vendors, Customer Service & service functions. Additionally, you will support compliant and efficient operations within the DE, CH & AT region in a GxP Biopharma environment. Who you’ll work with You will be working in a team that values collaboration and innovation. Our Supply Chain team works closely with Marketing & Sales, Regulatory, QA, Drug Safety and Global Supply Functions to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will support compliant and efficient operations within the DE, CH & AT region in a GxP Biopharma environment. What you’ll do Conduct In-Market SIOP process: Prepare sales forecasts, lead monthly demand meetings, and plan special promotions with Marketing/Product Managers. Supply & Customer Service Support: Monitor deliveries, ensure effective material flow, and handle customer inquiries. Interface Management and Reporting: Maintain daily/monthly reporting and monitor interfaces & support month end closing. Inventory Management: Monitor deliveries, stock coverage, and expiration dates, and analyze product portfolio for optimization. Supporting local and global projects related to business development Product Launches and Changes: Coordinate new product introductions and packaging changes. Vendor Management: Support and drive on-time distribution budget cycles and secure in-market business continuity. GxP Compliance: Manage deviations/complaints, change controls, and participate in inspections and audits. Supply Chain Security: Create and process complaints, conduct root cause analyses, and follow up with stakeholders. Serialization (FMD): Support & monitor and report alerts for DE/AT. Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills: Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a relevant field. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including demand planning and inventory management. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools (OMP, SAP) Good understanding of GxP regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English. Why Join Us?
