Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Patrick Mösch and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
In this role you will lead the Domnain for Electrical Integration within the Train Electrical Metier at the Train Development Site Hennigsdorf.
We’ll look for you to :
* Ensuring the proper follow-up of the Metier Quality and Delivery on Domain Workpackages for the Site.
* Ensuring understanding and application of the TD rules, processes and tools (single-domain).
* Ensuring that design reviews (single domain) are prepared and documented as per the project/program schedule and to follow-up the main open actions.
* Ensuring proper collaborative work with other Domains/Metier/Departments
* Defining mitigation plans covering a risk identified on the Domain scope.
* Managing the development of the site Domain team to ensure the adequacy of the capacity vs workload vs skills and the transfer of activities if needed.
* Defining Domain fixed costs and workload to secure project QCD commitments and formalizing hypothesis taken.
* Defining Electrical or Mechanical Domain architecture taking into account depending the domain: weight, gauge, installation strategy, acoustics, eco
* Allocating adequate resources to the projects/programs/tenders.
* Applying and follow-up the People Management Cycle on time for Domain team according to N+1 and HR instructions.
* Supporting the Domain team in the resolution of issues and challenging actions (multi-domains) in particular those involving other stakeholders (internal
* or external).
* Reporting on Domain activities progress and alerting in case of main issue (capacity, skills, rule applicability, etc.).
* Validating relevant Domain deliverables and securing planning.
* Signalling issue and/or making proposals to TE or TD Central Engineering that would contribute to continuous improvement of the Domain
* Collaborating with the Central Engineering team for continuous improvement of the Metier (including RoE)

* Electrical / Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products (or Automotive domain or Aerospace domain) with 3+ years of experience

* Language skills: English fluent, German intermediate
