Main mission
As a VAT Compliance Intern, you will manage a portfolio of VAT compliance cases and actively contribute to indirect tax advisory projects. You will play a key role in analyzing VAT issues for our clients and communicating with Luxembourg tax authorities.
Main responsibilities
* Handle a portfolio of VAT compliance files in our VAT compliance practice;
* Monitor new VAT provisions and guidelines issued by the Luxembourg VAT authorities;
* Analyse client’s VAT issues related to VAT compliance;
* Participate in VAT advisory projects;
* Assist clients in the set-up of structures (emission of documents, setting-up of operating memorandum..);
* Communicate with Luxembourg VAT authorities and auditors in case of questions linked to this matter;
* Prepare in-house trainings on VAT matters and communicate new tax developments internally.
Main requirements
* Currently attending a Master (BAC+5) or Bachelor (BAC+3) degree in Tax Law, Accounting or Finance;
* Looking for your end-of-study internship (4 to 6 months), you would like to find your first job after this internship;
* Fluent in French and English or German and English (any other language is considered an asset);
* Good communication skills and team spirit;
* Good organisational skills, flexibility and ability to meet strict deadlines;
* Strong commitment to excellence and attention to details.
