Hauptaufgaben
Works as the Information, Referral, and Follow-Up Program Coordinator and Relocation Readiness Program Assistant under the supervision of the Relocation Readiness Program Manager in the Army Community Services Center (ACS).
Manages the ACS Information and Referral services by overseeing and conducting the ACS client intake at the reception desk. Develops and monitors the process through which clients identify their service needs and obtain assistance. Assures that client files are correctly set up, updated, and stored. Reviews process periodically for compliance with pertinent regulatory guidance. Develops and monitors how clients can sign up for classes and obtain information about the community at the reception desk, either by telephone or in person. Assists in developing the current comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and keeps it current for all ACS personnel on intake and general reception desk procedures. Provides technical assistance to contractors, volunteers, and other staff who eventually operate the ACS reception desk. Establishes and maintains comprehensive and current information files on public, private, and voluntary service organizations. Serves as unit service coordinator, providing services to designated military units. Serves as initial point of contact for all ACS programs. Conducts unit needs assessments and provided feedback to the ACS Division Chief and unit commander. Provides referrals for specialized follow-up care. Coordinates with other installation activities. Serves as command or ACS representative on various Family and Soldier activity councils and boards to stay informed on operations and to coordinate programs and requirements. Maintains liaison with civilian and military-related social and human services organizations. Coordinates services based on need. Provides referrals for specialized support and follow-up on actions to ensure appropriate connection to ACS and other organizations' services.
Assists the ACS Relocation Readiness Program Manager in providing comprehensive Relocation Information and Assistance Services and provides technical assistance to contractors and volunteers and refers complex situations to the Program Manager.
Develops, coordinates, and provides sponsorship training and provides guidance on writing sponsor letters; practical means of assistance to the soldiers and their families upon arrival; and ways to help them adjust to the new community.
Collaborates and coordinates with other Federal and State agencies, professional organizations, community organizations, and governmental agencies, such as the Chamber of Commerce, school boards, PTA groups, real estate trade organizations, church groups, and colleges and universities to ensure that families are made aware of all available information, services, and resources which minimize the financial and emotional stress of relocation.
Serves as the GPC Cardholder for Rose Barracks.

C1-0186-05:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.

Position may be filled at the C-5 or at the full performance level C-5a. The incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher or full performance level in accordance with regulatory requirements, upon completion of required training, and recommendation of supervisor.
