- Head of Sales (m/f/d)
This position is in our division Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
Your Tasks:
1. Achieving sales and market share targets and driving profitable growth in a relevant business
2. Leading, developing, and coaching a high performing sales team of Regional Sales Manager in the German market
3. Developing and managing relationships with high profile customers, accounts, and opinion leaders
4. Representing the business at key internal and external events and at national and international business reviews
5. Successful developing implementation strategy of country product launches
6. Monitoring, analyzing, reporting on competitors’ products and strategies, and driving appropriate business response
7. Develop sales strategy and tactics and drive successful execution
8. Cost center management according to plan and guidelines
9. Anticipating healthcare market developments
Your Qualification:
10. Post graduate diploma or University degree and on-the-job business exposure
11. Proven track of several years of successful leadership
12. Experienced in sales analysis and corresponding strategic sales approaches
13. Experienced in strategy development and translation into tactics and successful execution
14. Experienced in P&L management / forecasting / cost center management
15. Good personal/professional balance and discipline
16. Very good language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
