Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Finance Team in the position of Accounting and Reporting Manager (EMEA). This role has overall fiscal management responsibility for APLL's operations and all associated APLL reporting control entities through leadership of financial record keeping in their respective region, reporting and lead process and technology improvement targeted at compliancy to internal and external guidelines and to improve efficiency. Responsibilities Main Responsibilities: Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies Coordinating with internal and external auditors for financial audits Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement Preparing financial forecasts and projections Building and maintaining relationships with internal auditors, external auditors and tax advisors, key internal stakeholders Observing, interpreting and complying with the local tax regulations, working together with Tax Manager to ensure the compliance and best enjoy the eligible tax benefit Supporting the successful execution of key financial projects Overseeing the resourcing for the EMEA Accounting & Reporting team, ensuring the teams have adequate capacity to deliver finance operations, taking action to meet requirements when needed Building a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the EMEA Accounting & Reporting team Qualifications What we are looking for: BA and/or MA in in Accounting or related discipline or Qualified Accountant. At least 10 years of experience in a similar position with regional experience is a must Track record in developing policies / processes and implementing process improvement initiatives successfully Experience in SAP and PowerBI would be an asset Fluency in English is a must Comfortable working with abstract situations / ideas across functional areas.
