A Snapshot of Your Day As a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) (f/m/d) within our Gas Services, Controls & Digitalization team, you will serve as the commercial counterpart to the technical Project Manager (f/m/d), reporting directly to the Finance Manager (f/m/d).You will bring passion and a proactive attitude to your role as a member of our international team. No two days will be the same. While you will often be deeply engaged in financial analysis, you will also interact with partners to align efforts, seek support, learn, and provide assistance. The outcomes of your work are needed for creating transparency and driving the profitability of the Controls & Digitalization projects within your scope.Digitalization is essential to our collective success. 1. Successful execution of the full scope of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines, with high accuracy and focus on forecast quality
2. Running, monitoring and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (, project gross profit, project costs, cash flow, assets, cashflow, financing instruments)
3. Preparation, handling and monitoring of Projects forecasts and reflect them in the respective tools
4. Issuance and timely submission of Project billing as specified in customer contract and regulations
5. Providing information and commercial/financial reports vital for project review, indicating deviations, handling risks and opportunities, accompanying the action plans
6. Contribution to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
7. Handling foreign currency risk in the projects according to hedging/currency guidelines
8. Lead partner’s requirements (customer, subcontractors, internal management and other team members etc.)
What You Bring
9. Studies in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Commercial field or similar
10. Experience in commercial project management, ideally with a certification as CPM (f/m/d)
11. Solid track record in a multinational environment and experienced in effectively engaging with diverse audiences
12. Sensitive and adaptable to the needs of diverse groups
13. Analytical thinking and ability to interact both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills
14. Full professional proficiency in English, ideally Spanish, German is an asset
