Main Objective of the Position:In this Recruiter position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing key operational tasks to ensure an efficient hiring process for various BASF business units in the United States. As a Recruiter, you will support the end-to-end hiring process, from identifying qualified candidates who apply to our vacancies to initiating the onboarding process for new employees. You will be responsible for reviewing and selecting candidates, scheduling interviews, providing timely communication and candidate support via email and phone, drafting offer letters, and coordinating background and medical checks.Main Tasks:Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Partner team to ensure timely execution of recruitment activities, delivering qualified talent to stakeholders while providing excellent support and experience for candidates and Hiring Managers.Identify qualified applicants, conduct phone interviews, and encourage completion of assessments.Keep the candidate pipeline up to date by promptly rejecting candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements.Provide support to candidates via email and phone to foster engagement in the recruitment process, clarify any questions, promote BASF’s mission and vision, and position BASF as an employer of choice.Schedule interviews, arrange room bookings, and manage interviewer calendars. Communicate promptly with candidates, providing all necessary details to prepare them effectively for their interviews.Draft offer letters for internal and external candidates, tailoring them to reflect each position's unique aspects. Ensure compliance with global guidelines and internal policies.Prioritize the timely completion of background and medical checks, emphasizing BASF’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all employees. Attention to detail throughout the process is crucial to building candidates’ confidence in our company.Efficiently transfer candidate files and information to SAP and myHR to initiate onboarding processes. Ensure the timely upload of electronic files to employees' personal folders.Contribute to projects related to recruitment activities, process improvements, and tool implementation.Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:Education: University degree or advanced student in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred).Work Experience: 3–5 years of experience in an HR or recruitment environment.Languages: Advanced English proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication skills.Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Taleo or Success Factors, or a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly. Capability to identify areas of improvement and propose alternative solutions.Soft Skills:Communication: Effectively engage with candidates, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders.
