About the role We are looking for a People Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team of curious, forward-thinking professionals at zeroG. As People Operations Specialist at zeroG, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the Employee Lifecycle and experience. This position is centered on pre- and onboarding processes, employee lifecycle management, and administrative tasks, with opportunities to contribute to various People and Culture initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our People & Culture Business Partner, Finance team, and other stakeholders ensuring smooth People Operations processes from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating seamless employee experiences. As a People Operations Specialist, you will: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR processes, procedures, and programs, ensuring timely and accurate responses Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as critical document preparation, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and updating shared systems (e.g., HRIS) Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee transition experience Support recruitment activities, such as job postings, assisting with candidate journeys, including interview scheduling and communication with candidates Support performance evaluation cycles by coordinating and tracking processes and answer employee inquiries Develop, maintain, and update process documentation in the company handbook to enhance transparency and efficiency in HR operations Coordinate office-related tasks, including ordering supplies and coordinating workplace logistics, contributing to a welcoming and well-organized environment What skills should you have? Proven track record in HR operations in Germany, with knowledge of key areas such as payroll, benefits, and HRIS management Solid understanding of German labor laws and employment regulations Fluency in German and English is mandatory Experience with HRIS tools like Personio, Workday, or similar Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact optimally across teams and levels Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment The following skills and experience would also be an asset: Hands-on experience with recruitment activities, such as interview coordination, candidate communication, and job postings Prior experience in a self-managed or agile work environment Do you want to know more about how you can make an impact with us?
