Grant Thornton Luxembourg is currently seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager - Central Administration to start ASAP.

Main mission
As Assistant Manager / Manager you will be the right hand to the head of operations in the central administration unit and deputise in their absence. This operational experience will be a springboard for your future career! You will have your own portfolio, focusing mainly on Fund Accounting.
Main responsibilities
Perform/review, arrange, and enable a variety of accounting and administrative tasks:
* Review bookkeeping and reporting prepared, provide feedback and coaching while remaining hands-on for improvements;
* Arrange and/or prepare standard cosec tasks (specialised work is outsourced);
* Issue engagement letters and assist in clients’ acceptance process
* Establishing effective relationships with clients, holding regular calls, meetings, keeping action plans and supervising to implementation;
* Leading small-scale projects for improvements and changes within the team;
* Deputising in the absence of the department head.
Main requirements
* Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting;
* At least 7 years’ experience in a Fiduciary or in a Financial services organisation, ideally in Luxembourg;
* Fluent in English and French; German is considered an asset;
* Organisation skills, eye to detail;
* Ownership of tasks, desire to complete to the utmost standard;
* Projects and procedures minded attitude;
* Excellent understanding of all corporate processes in fund and corporate environments, including TA, Cosec, Financial statements and Tax returns;
* Team spirit and ability to work across diverse organisations and teams.
