Are you a procurement professional with expertise in IT categories and a passion for driving global strategies? We are seeking an ICT Strategic Buyer to join our team and shape the future of IT procurement across our global business units. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Procurement, this role plays a pivotal part in optimizing our IT supplier relationships and ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance in sourcing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement efficient IT category management strategies to drive standardization and cost optimization.
* Analyze IT expenditures and propose cost-saving methods.
* Lead global sourcing strategies, including RFP processes and complex negotiations.
* Introduce best practices in procurement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across all business units.
* Perform detailed cost analyses, scenario planning, and benchmarking in partnership with the CIO office.
* Evaluate and mitigate risks, ensuring robust supplier performance in quality and delivery stability.
* Establish structured processes, rules of engagement, and provide end-to-end support for ICT supplier management.
What You Bring:
* A minimum of 7 years’ experience managing IT procurement categories in a multinational company.
* Proven project management experience with a track record of successful delivery.
* Strong ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights to drive procurement opportunities.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
* Experience working in complex, multi-country environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
