Currently we are seeking Quality Manager (Emergency Lighting product line) What you'll do: The chosen person will lead the Quality Function for the plant in Soest Germany and Riom France within Emergency Ligthing Product Line Portfolio. Main Purpose of the role will be to develop and deploy out Product Line Quality Strategy & linked objectives through the entire end to end value stream of the Product Line Emergency Lighting. As Quality Manager Emergency Lighting (m/f/d) you will be responsible for : - supervising Product Line's and Site's Key Quality performance results - leading the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation, providing quality leadership and support in the development and launch of new products, processes and services - leading or participating in the auditing of internal Quality Systems; acting as the interface/host for Customer and regulatory audits of our Quality Systems - delivering Critical Solutions, Products & Services that meet or exceed Customers' expectations - ensuring fast detection and escalation path to address Customer Critical issues to ensure their rapid and efficient closure to keep customer loyalty high and facilitate customers' business opportunities - analyzes organizational quality metrics and performs managerial reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at an operational level - development and implementation of Quality structure capable of supporting strategic business plans and initiatives and quality assurance training programs and conducts training in quality-related topics - managing product line quality team- motivating and ensuring continuous improvement spirit to have a high performance- and team-based culture achieving world class quality levels - acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Skills: - Comprehensive experience in a related professional and QA Supervisory/Managerial role - Detailed knowledge of industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (i.e., ISO9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 etc) - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) - Deep knowledge of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA etc.) - Very good interpersonal /presentation skills & Communication both external w/ Customers & authorities and internal - Detailed knowledge of process auditing techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements - Detailed knowledge of product and end user application/specifications, including product testing requirements (design/process interface) - Business-fluent language skills in English and German We are offering: - Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team - Office based role with flexible working solutions - Competitive compensation and possibilities of further trainings and career development - We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people's lives and the environment through power management technologies.
