Job Description

We are looking for a regional Controller (all genders) to join us on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. You will be working in close collaboration with stakeholders both in the regional team in Berlin and the local country finance teams. Leveraging insights from revenue and cost variance analysis, you will be building and maintaining a strong bridge between business and finance to enhance decision making for the region.
Your mission:
Help us to oversee financials of businesses in Asia and Europe from a regional perspective:
* You will perform month end closing consolidation and reviews of our entities in Asia and Europe to understand movements and variances to plan
* You will further develop and manage the Month end closing process and controls both for increased accuracy and timeliness
* You will support regional inter- and intracompany recharging calculations and postings
* You will participate in regular regional review meetings and generate tailored reporting with aim to improve transparency and brief relevant stakeholders in the region how to improve financials
* You will manage financial topics including liaising with Group Controlling on P&L line treatment
* You will support business cases to drive decisions and ensure reflection in financials
Improve and harmonize Controlling Processes and Tools across Europe and Asia:
* You will be an integrated part of the regional Controlling team with clear deliverables and development opportunities
* You will support to improve and harmonise the process of the financial reporting in your domains across countries
* You directionally can also lead improvement projects to drive implementation
What you bring to the table:
* You studied business economics/administration or related with a focus on Business/Finance (preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent)
* Analytical thinking and the ability to understand Financial Statements,
* 2 - 5 of relevant full time experience in the field of Controlling or Finance
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint or equivalent Google Suite
* Natural curiosity, passionate about learning and a desire to understand the business
* Intercultural: collaborative, able to work with diverse groups of people from different countries
* Hands-on team player with advanced communication skills, verbally and written with fluency in English (our working language)
* Experience with any of SAP, Anaplan or OneStream is a plus
* Familiarity with Google Big Query or SQL is a plus
