As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Molecular Devices'' product portfolio in the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new accounts, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products. The full product portfolio includes microplate readers & washers, cellular imaging systems, clone screening and electrophysiology solutions and associated software. You will work closely with customers to understand their research needs and challenges, positioning Molecular Devices'' portfolio to supply innovative solutions that accelerate discovery. This is a remote position covering accounts in Germany South East and Austria. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to drive growth and gain market share through effective territory planning, account management and value selling. Main Responsibilities: Drive growth and gain market share through effective territory planning, account management and value selling. Actively engage customers, understand their research needs/challenges and position Molecular Devices'' portfolio to supply the preferred innovative solutions to accelerate discovery. Collaborate with and leverage internal technical specialists to understand customer workflows. Develop and support solutions that exceed the customers'' expectations while fully leveraging the entire MD portfolio. Chion Molecular Devices standard sales processes, Danaher Business Systems, and digital tools, to drive sustainable success for Molecular Devices, the customer and yourself. Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline. A minimum of 2 years of field sales experience, engaging and selling into the life science, drug discovery, or related industry. Residing within listed territory and willing to invest 70% of working time in field interacting with customers and teammates. Passionate about using Salesforce.com CRM Database to share customer insights, forecast, accurately reflect funnel, analyze performance and identify business gaps and strengths. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve success in a team environment. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 70% within territory or company events. Must have a valid driver''s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 40lbs. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the microplate reader, high content imaging or cell line development space(s).
