For our German site in Wesseling near Cologne we are looking for a
Production Engineer Cracker (m/f/d)
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* monitor, troubleshoot and optimize operatinge units to drive process and product improvements
* detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield and energy consumption
* identify, recommend and implement strategic projects to improve unit performance
* collaborate with unit specialists and implementation of capital projects
* drive the optimization of plant performance in a safe manner to meet Company targets for production, quality, yield, energy consumption and new product development
Qualifications
* Master in Chemical Engineering, related engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment
* Technical background in Olefin production and general understanding of petrochemical processes
* Languages: fluent in German, working proficiency in English
* Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
* Leadership skills to drive technical solutions and mentor technicians and operators.
* Ability to handle multiple time-critical challenges simultaneously
