Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.
Hauptaufgaben
Develops plans to accomplish the overall mission of the LRC Divisions/Sections. Studies program documents, regulations, new or revised policies, and procedures received from higher authority and incorporates into the LRC's mission. Reviews policy recommendations submitted by Plans and Operations Division personnel for overall adequacy, suggesting revisions, and coordinating with appropriate staff before seeking approval of higher authority and proceeding with implementation or publication. Attends conferences to keep informed of any changes in number and types of units and activities to be supported. Develops, coordinates, and conducts special projects and studies pertaining to logistics, including development of master scenario events lists and analysis and data collection plans for selected operations and efforts. Coordinates with the Plans and Operations, Transportation, and Supply and Services Divisions, analyzes input, prepares and issues information papers, and develops total briefing packages. Recommends objectives to be accomplished to fulfill assigned missions. Inspects activities for conformance with policies, regulations, and program requirements and recommends and advises on corrective actions. As a focal point for monitoring the quality and efficiency of the local supply system, initiates actions for improvements to overcome any deficiencies. Attends meetings and conferences with subordinate elements to discuss problems, develops methods for dealing with troubled areas, and discusses regulatory policy changes that affect internal procedures for coordinating work with other interested activities. Performs a variety of specialized task related to distribution, storage, and automated control of all classes of supplies. Evaluates alternatives to ensure most efficient operations of work sites and resolve operational problems. Performs assignments involving a variety of supply management tasks to account for all classes of supplies, to include, petroleum, materials, repair parts, general supply, and Command, Control, and Communications, equipment. Analyzes and evaluates new supply systems; identifies and recommends alternative ways to resolve conflicting objectives; and evaluates customer services. Prepares and renders oral reports and formal briefings to leadership relating to logistical programs managed by the LRC. Reviews Baseline Logistics Services (BLS) for command suitability and coordinates changes with LRC Divisions and supported organizations. Reviews and recommends action on memoranda of understanding between the supported units and the LRC. Coordinates and follows-up relevant actions by Brigade and Army Sustainment Command (ASC) element.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-6:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 3 years of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 3 years of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level IV: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level V: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled. The amount of the higher level experience must be in a reasonable relation to the required total number of years.
• Office automation skills are required.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level B2 AND German Language Proficiency level B1 required.

• The incumbent of this position is occasionally required to perform TDY (Temporary Duty Travel).
• Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
