Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director Germany to drive sales, lead a team, and implement a strategic sales approach in engineering services and industrial machinery sales. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of management experience, holds an engineering or business degree, and possesses a hands-on sales approach to engage directly with clients while also structuring long-term sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded.
* Direct Sales Execution: Actively engage in high-value sales activities, negotiating with clients and closing deals in the first person.
* Strategy Development: Develop and implement an effective sales strategy aligned with business objectives, covering both equipment sales and after-sales services.
* Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the company’s market share.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Team Development: Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance their performance and professional growth.
* Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and after-sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring profitability and customer alignment.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within industrial machinery, engineering services, or related fields.
* Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in industrial machinery and after-sales services.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Hands-on approach to sales, with the ability to engage directly with clients.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
* Willingness to travel as required.
