We are now looking for a Global Key Client Manager BMW AIR. The Global Client Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the strategic partnership with global runway clients to position Maersk as the preferred logistics partner. In addition, the Global Client Manager will maximise Maersk’s business result through a combination of world-class account management, business development, and consultative selling.

Key responsibilities
Strategy
1. detailed understanding of the customer’s supply chain strategy and needs
2. understand our position vs the competitors’ landscape
3. develop a joint strategic roadmap with the customer and Customer Program Director (CPD)
4. develop strong network with key customer’s stakeholders
5. develop Maersk value propositions with the customer
6. provide input to global product teams and verticals on value propositions
7. drive inspired account team culture with a customer identity
Customer satisfaction
1. organise and connect the global Maersk team across functions, products and area for overall customer experience
Selling
1. lead opportunities identification in accordance with the roadmap
2. lead sales pursuits (especially global opportunities) as per defined sales process
3. ensure that value propositions are tailor-made to customer needs
Delivering
1. align and agree on KPIs and SLAs
2. monitor and support contract compliance and commitment
3. ensure the overall account team is compliant with Neutrality & Confidentiality (NnC) guidelines
Who we look for
1. Possessing specialized knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly as an Air specialist, would be a significant advantage
2. Ability to identify opportunities for strategic partnership
3. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
4. A sales professional with a proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning large scale opportunities
5. A professional used to liaise with c-level management
6. Significant experience in international supply chain
7. A sales professional with highly developed consultative selling approach, persuasiveness and influencing skills
