The role includes, organization and maintenance of stock, logistics oversight (inter-company and external), production planning, applying lean techniques, reducing costs, improving training, hands-on involvement in day-to-day Operations tasks and driving continuous improvement throughout Operations. It will suit an individual who can execute the operations departmental strategic initiatives and provide significant hands-on involvement Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities: Supervison of Operations Team, including creating and implementing daily work plans for all areas Ensures that product filling, finishing and warehouse functions are completed on schedule and in accordance with established standards and procedures. Ensures compliance with the ISO Quality Management System. Manages the product filling and finishing teams. Provides clear and quantifiable goals, metrics, process flow charts and facts to teams. Responsible for the direct supervision and developmental opportunities for staff including performance management. Provide feedback to the management on trends and costs. Obtains packaging materials for Aliquoting and finishing in a timely manner for successful execution of production plan. Responsible for control of all inventory. Control of the cycle counting process and training of the responsible staff. Responsible for freezer control, temperature monitoring and defrosting Other duties as assigned. At least 5-6 years of proven management experience in manufacturing including materials, warehousing, planning, production and logistics. From that experience, at least 2 years’ experience in ISO/FDA environment. Demonstrable strong leadership, team building, and organizational skills. Ability to provide both direct and indirect supervision and developmental opportunities for staff. Ability to read, understand and follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines and ensure staff compliance. Must possess good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills. Previous experience in cGMP environment and/or Life Science company
