Sustainable Campus Development: Ensure the continuous development and functionality of the campus, building a resilient, eco-conscious facility that meets modern demands. What we are looking for: We are seeking an accomplished scientist or engineer with a strong background in instrumentation for large-scale research infrastructures and a visionary approach to facility development. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in managing groups in a large-scale scientific facility, particularly in photon science. Key qualifications: Scientific and Technical Expertise: Advanced university degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in building instrumentation for large-scale facilities; experience with accelerator and undulator systems is a strong asset. Leadership Skills: Proven track record in managing diverse teams across divisions, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals. Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work as a committed team player, especially, within the Management Board, supporting a collaborative and productive work environment. Long-Term Vision: Insight into sustainable facility development and operation, with a focus on future-proofing infrastructure. Innovation and Problem-Solving: A creative approach to solving complex technical challenges in a multidisciplinary setting.
