The Vice President Global Distribution & Logistics COE will be responsible for leading and optimizing global logistics and distribution operations, ensuring seamless and cost-effective movement of products across our network. This role will drive operational excellence across internal and outsourced logistics operations, ensuring high service levels, quality, compliance and efficiency. Your assignments Leadership & Strategic Oversight Lead a global Center of Excellence (COE) for distribution and logistics, developing and executing best-in-class logistics strategies. Build and lead high-performing teams, including consolidation center operations and export distribution teams. Develop and implement logistics governance models, policies, and KPIs to drive performance improvement. Logistics Network Optimization Oversee primary transportation management, ensuring cost-effective and reliable delivery from manufacturing sites to distribution centers. Design and optimize the secondary distribution network, including regional and last-mile logistics strategies. Provide strategic support to country logistics teams, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory compliance. End-to-End Logistics Value Creation Develop and implement strategies to enhance logistics efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service reliability. Leverage digitalization and data analytics to drive continuous improvement in transportation and distribution. Work closely with supply chain, commercial, and regulatory teams to optimize the end-to-end distribution model. Outsourced Logistics & Supplier Management Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers, ensuring optimal performance. Support Procurement Teams in negotiations and contract management for global transportation and warehousing agreements. Your profile Extensive experience in managing internal and outsourced logistics operations on a global scale. Proven leadership in end-to-end logistics excellence and value creation. Expertise in primary transportation, distribution center and secondary distribution network operations. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to drive logistics innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency .
