We are currently growing and looking forward to hiring a dynamic Director of Sales to manage our worldwide large format and specialty products business.
Roles & Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for leading an experienced channel sales organization, identifying, closing, and growing new partners and dealers, and executing an effective sales strategy that will achieve targets and maintain Fiery’s leading position in the industry. You will be a critical member of our Sales Leadership Team. The director and team will sell Fiery products consisting of RIPs and workflow software for the wide to superwide inkjet production and proofing segments, the Direct-to-garment (DTG) and Direct-to-film (DTF) textile printing markets, as well as other specialty products for markets including sign-making, engraving, and vehicle wraps. These are large and fast-growing markets requiring a dynamic and driven sales leader. This position will directly report to the Fiery Vice President of Sales and Marketing, managing 11 team members based in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. This is a remote role with location flexibility within Germany.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent a plus.
Experience: 12+ years of channel sales experience with 5+ years in a global or regional sales management position.
Job Requirements:
* Proven track record growing the business by leading and motivating sales teams to consistently achieve aggressive sales revenue and growth targets.
* Strong analytical skills with extensive experience accurately forecasting future business and delivering results.
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence outcomes working with stakeholders across a global organization.
* Successful track record leading sales through both OEM partners and Dealer sales channels.
* Provide a clear understanding of evolving market trends and channel needs to key internal stakeholders, ensuring an effective contribution to decision-making on product and solutions strategy.
* Able to develop current personnel and attract and recruit new top sales talent.
* Inkjet print industry experience; wide format and apparel/textile print knowledge a plus.
Revenue/Business Expansion
* Lead the Sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and budgetary objectives, maintaining the company’s #1 position in the industry.
* Develop plans to increase attach rate and wallet share of key channel partners.
* Identify and close new partnerships with leading DTF, DTG, and wide format printer manufacturers and dealers.
* Expand the Fiery large format and specialty product lines in new geographies and market segments.
* Track and actively manage sales activity and new account development, and provide accurate and timely forecasts using the appropriate Sales Tools and Processes (including SFDC).
Sales Strategy:
* Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company objectives and sales goals.
* Create and execute strategic planning, including Go-to-Market plans, people management, partner/channel/customer relationship skills, and channel sales.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
* Negotiate agreements and business terms.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
Behavioural Skills: Should have strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, accountability, strategic orientation, initiative, learnability, strong decision-making capabilities, and leadership skills.
