Manager, DTC Retail Delivery

SUMMARY :
The individual will be responsible for fueling the growth of the business through the optimization of our logistics consumer experience working cross functionally, She or he will support the relationship with major operations partners, as well as OPEX budgets, and will run a small operations team in-house; with the expectation to constantly challenge the status quo and optimize.
She or he must be comfortable with working in a very cross-functional environment, working closely with different European and Global teams, especially where it comes to technology, product management and distribution. She or he must have a getting things done mentality, and a demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate, communicate, build effective partnerships across the organization, and influence others.
The purpose of the DTC Retail delivery position in Europe is to ensure we can deliver the best service to our retail stores and utilize our omnichannel capabilities as much as possible, to ensure the premium experience for our DtC First Environment and long-term profitable growth.
As part of the European Supply Chain organization, you will work closely with the commercial Retail DtC team to develop, building and improve service models, to ensure we operate in line with our agreed service models. Your key focus is on Retail Stores and Outlets to ensure a flawless end-to-end operation of their orders. Next to that, you will actively contribute to implement new omnichannel capabilities and enhance existing omni-experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
Organizational Impact: Responsible for a flawless execution of the fulfillment of Retail Store orders from order placement until delivery, including returns.
1. Lead the relationships with all our business partners across warehouses, transportation and omnichannel.
2. Define the mid to long term roadmap to evolve our logistics operations set up, turn it into an action plan that reflects the strategy and priorities, and execute.
3. Collaborate with our global technology and product management teams, to influence our global technology roadmap and implement all the necessary changes to our OMS systems.
4. Leverage consumer insights to build strategies, improve the consumer experience and lead times of last mile Retail order delivery.
5. Manage and continue to elevate the logistics operations team. Collaborate tightly cross-functionally, with our dedicated partners in function such as finance, planning, IT and Retail
6. Manage OPEX budgets tightly, ensure accurate annual and quarterly forecasting to ensure we can show P&L leverage. Support the monthly closing process, ensure accuracy of data used for accruals and revenue recognition.
7. Develop, report and manage industry relevant and leading KPIs, monitor and develop strategies to improve consumer experience, cost of fulfillment etc.
8. Work closely with the European Planning and Distribution teams to ensure smooth flow of products into our eCommerce DCs.
9. Contribute to the success of big European distribution projects, as our European DC landscape evolves.
10. Work closely with the Global Technology and Product Management teams where it comes to our technology roadmap, but also where it comes to prioritization within our agile tracks for backend systems.
11. Partner with the Retail Team ensuring priorities is aligned, ensure we jointly increase business performance against set KPIs.
12. Develop with Retail and E-com teams consumer facing delivery models such as Ship from Store, BOPIS, Returns in Store BORIS, Reserve on-line buy in store etc.
13. Have a keen understanding of the end-to-end returns process across the Retail channels.
14. Driving optimization of the end-to-end allocation, distribution Centre (DC) processing and fulfillment process from order placement till delivery (product on time at the right place)
15. Responsible for operational execution of STOs between locations. Alignment with Planning, Allocation, DC, and Transportation to ensure products will arrive in-full and on-time.
16. Partner with the business on New Store Order (NSO) execution such as delivery timing and DC ship dates
17. Prominent teammate in the enhancement of OMS, and implementation of Omni-Capabilities. Considered a SME for SAP, OMS and point of contact for testing and validation activities.
18. Interface between the commercial Retail and planning teams and the DC to communicate business decisions and their consequences, e.g., forecasting, promotions, and campaigns periods.
19. Consistent reporting of the operational performance (scorecards) that drive the correct actions and follow up, with specific attention on OTIF and delivery flaws.
20. Aid in the development/improvement of procedures, (ad hoc) reports & processes
21. Back up for Specialist eCommerce and Marketplace Operations

22. Functions as a ‘bridge-building’ between teams outside Supply Chain and Levi’s, by inclusion of the right stakeholders, constructive communication to hit team and regional goals. And building strong relationships.

Education And / Or Experience
60. Bachelor’s degree in business discipline
61. 5+ years of experience within retailing and omnichannel solutions, preferably in a similar industry as Levi’s
62. Proven track record in problem solving and process improvements including measurable outcomes
63. Hands on experience with SAP (preferably FMS), BI Reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite
64. Ability to read and apply operational metrics with the right balance between analytical and process understanding skills.
65. Able to level the communication, messaging, and action driven conclusions to the audience it is shared with.
66. Fluent in English. Other European languages is added value.
