Manager IP Analytics and Data (d/f/m)

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage and implement advanced analytics projects with a deep understanding of different AI models and patent data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Data governance & management of IP data
Ensure data integrity and consistency through processes and tools, including identifying and addressing key data gaps
Set-up and maintain data catalogues, dictionaries for all IP data tools; collaborate with technology team
Identify metrics for good data quality and monitor data quality across tools
Build IP reports and analytics from internal and external databases
Manage the ETL process, ensuring data cleansing and validation building data pipelines with IT operations team for regular reports and analytics
Identify opportunities to improve and enhance internal IP data sets by leveraging external data
Manage and develop Qlik dashboards to support the IP strategy process and reporting
Project management: collaborate with Technology team on technical implementation of data APIs
Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance our data systems in reaction to our clients’ needs
Essential Requirements:
Master degree in data science, data engineering, computer science or related field
10+ years experience in life sciences industry or intellectual property in other industries
Extensive experience in building stories with data in life science industry or intellectual property and proven track record of completing complex data science projects, including EDA and machine learning
Excellent programming skills, web scraping, text processing, data extraction, cleaning, transforming and analyzing large data sets
Ability to manage structured and unstructured IP data sets and databases, including the ETL process and creating a data pipeline
Extensive experience working in SQL, Python, Qlik
Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
Fluent English
