Role Overview: I am seeking a dynamic and resilient IT Service Manager to lead the production site and data center in Dettingen. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual with a strong technical background and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, including WLAN, Linux, Windows, and application support. Your primary goal will be to ensure the stability and efficiency of our systems, as any downtime directly impacts our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the IT service team, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
2. Oversee the daily operations of our data center, ensuring all systems are running smoothly.
3. Perform system updates, migrations, and set up new servers and storage solutions.
4. Plan and manage storage requirements and ensure data security and compliance with PCI and ISO standards.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, maintaining a resilient and efficient IT environment.
6. Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
7. Implement best practices and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
Technical Skills:
8. Strong knowledge of WLAN, Linux, and Windows systems.
9. Experience in application support and managing data center operations.
10. Hands-on experience with system updates, migrations, and server/storage setup.
11. Understanding of PCI and ISO standards is a plus
Qualifications:
12. Professional German speaker with proficiency in English.
13. Proven experience in a similar IT service management role.
14. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
15. Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
16. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
