On behalf of our client, ESOC, we are looking for a skilled CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) Engineer tojoin our team distributed over the ESOC site, in Germany.
Please, note the position is offered as a fixed-term contract until 28/02/2026.
Main Responsibilities
As CAFM Engineer (Administration and Documentation Management) you will concentrate your activities on the following:
1. Ensuring the proper operation and handling of CAFM, including system updates and documentation management.
2. Administering and operating the CAFM system, including managing CAD files, technical drawings, and accommodation layouts.
3. Serving as the single point of contact for CAFM-related support requests and issues.
4. Monitoring space allocation and ensuring that accommodation data in CAFM is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Coordinating and assisting with user training on CAFM, especially for new or less experienced users.
6. Addressing and correcting any data inconsistencies in the CAFM system
7. Generating and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) from the CAFM system for regular assessments.
8. Supporting the digitization of maintenance and technical documentation within CAFM.
9. Managing the inventory of ESOC user accounts and their roles in the CAFM system.
10. Coordinating with third-party service providers and contractors to ensure all CAFM data is accurate and up-to-date.
Successful Candidate
Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring :
11. Proven experience with CAFM systems, especially Archibus or similar tools.
12. Strong background in administration of facility management processes, data quality checks, and documentation management.
13. Experience with technical drawing and CAD file management.
14. Proficiency with database management, information technology, and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD).
15. Excellent organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
16. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning well in a team environment.
17. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and system integrity.
18. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an advantage.
19. A background in facilities management or related domains is highly desirable.
Nice to Have:
20. Experience with Archibus software and/or facility management systems.
21. Familiarity with maintenance procedures, both preventive and corrective, within CAFM.
22. Previous experience in the space sector or a technical operations environment.
23. Certification in facilities management or relevant technical domains.
