The role As the Project Planning Coordinator at Damen Naval you will be responsible for the planning, progress review and follow-up related to the new F126 Frigates we are building for the German Navy. You will ensure the shipbuilding planning is up-to-date by integrating the latest information from subcontractors. You will also closely monitor the build progress to timely identify bottlenecks and planning-issues and coordinate mitigating actions. Key accountabilities As the Project Planning Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include: Coordinating the overall shipbuilding project planning, progress review, and follow-up for this large-scale marine shipbuilding project. Integrate (updated) subcontractor information into the shipbuilding planning process and review progress on board. Identify bottlenecks and proactively address potential planning issues. Creation and integration of STW, HAT, SAT schedules for combat systems. Collaborate with colleagues across locations in Hamburg, Kiel, Wolgast and The Netherlands. Skills & experience To excel as Project Planning Coordinator, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities: Bachelor degree in a technical field combined with a minimum of five years of experience in planning large and complex projects, preferably gained in shipbuilding or similar industries. Proficiency in planning applications such as MS Project or Primavera, or willingness to learn. Preferably based in northern Germany. Fluent in German Language (both written and verbal). Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
