As a Manager Portfolio Management Generics & Specialty Generics (f/m/d) in the Global Portfolio Management Team, you will be part of an international team where you will evaluate new opportunities in the generics & specialty generics segment, work across functions and geographies on different projects, and support on building a robust generics & specialty generics pipeline. You own the prepration of business cases for new product developments and present these for project approval to respective management boards
You review selected therapeutic areas, providing analysis on indications, future trends, potential challenges & opportunities, and unmet medical needs
You act as the key contact person for allocated projects, including being familiar with the future trends, gap analysis, etc.
You evaluate opportunities for in-licensing, co-development and own development for new global projects, innovative generics, gap filling/harmonization, and product life-cycle ideas
You build strong relationships with corporate departments including project management, product development as well as IP, RA, BD&L and market intelligence
You will coordinate on additional tasks within portfolio management on various topics
You hold a university degree in life sciences, ideally as a medical doctor or pharmacist
You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product and/or portfolio management within the pharmaceutical industry; experience in product lifecycle management is a plus
You demonstrate strong intercultural communication and project management skills, with the ability to translate scientific ideas into commercial opportunities
You have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, along with good communication skills
You exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, with a drive to exceed targets, the tenacity to advance projects to successful launch, and the enthusiasm to create new pathways
