Position Description
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Support senior relationship managers with new and existing clients, including therein the preparation of related client briefings & pitch books and thereafter creation & circulation of post-meeting call reports.
• Active involvement in the preparation of credit papers prior to submission to CDED; specifically, the presentation of deal structures plus the linkage to CBDE2’s commercial business cases and wider client exposure strategies.
• Supporting day-to-day client management, providing an alternative client contact; includes therein establishment of own working level network with client counterparts.
• Similarly, this role shall provide an alternative relationship contact for key product partners.
• KYC / AML requirements for new account openings, in conjunction with CBDE2’s Credit Admin Team and the associated Compliance Department teams in London, plus Brussels and Frankfurt.
• Responsibility for coordination of new loan closings in conjunction with LCM Execution and Middle / Back Office stakeholders most notably Limit Control, Loans Admin, Compliance Department (including Sanctions and Financial Crime Middle Office, Forensics) and Finance & Control (Tax team). Good coordination is key, managing therein client expectations whilst simultaneously ensuring compliance with CBD2 specific rules and bank-wide policies and procedures.
• Other ad hoc tasks, requested by Senior Relationship Managers which contribute to the operation of CBDE2.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• Preferably apprenticeship in banking with either Bachelor or Master degree or additional trainings
• Internships in relevant banking products or work experience in financial sector preferable
• Knowledge of corporate finance principles and capital markets considered helpful
• Fluent spoken and written German and English required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Team player with strong intercultural competence and excellent communication and good people skills
• Ability to self-organise and self-motivate as well as manage work deadlines under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
