We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable Marketing Manager to drive AMBOSS’s entry into the US Physician Associate/Assistant (PA) student market. About AMBOSS AMBOSS is a learning and clinical decision support tool striving to empower physicians across the globe to provide the best possible care. Our founders set out in 2011 to create a tool that they would have hoped to have as medical students and doctors. Since then we have grown to currently operate in 180 countries and have gained immense traction in Germany and the US. Currently, we are pursuing this mission with more than 500 employees in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari. Why can this position be exciting for you? As this is a new market segment, there’s no set playbook—you’ll need to experiment, learn, and adapt quickly to find what works. You’ll shape the strategy while rolling up your sleeves to execute, drawing insights from other established markets and tailoring initiatives specifically for PA students. Reporting to our PA Market Lead, a US-trained PA, you’ll have direct access to invaluable firsthand expertise. You will: Develop and refine our marketing strategy for the PA student audience, continuously testing and adapting based on insights. Execute hands-on across multiple channels (email, paid social, content, events, partnerships) with the support of cross-functional teams. Launch, measure, and optimize small-scale experiments to validate ideas before scaling successful initiatives. Own end-to-end project management: from planning and execution to performance analysis and iteration. Work closely with stakeholders to bring ideas to life fast, balancing long-term strategy with immediate action. You bring: 4 years of marketing experience, ideally in digital, growth, or product marketing roles. A generalist mindset —you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, from strategy to execution. Hands-on experience in multichannel marketing (email, paid, content, partnerships, events, social). Strong copywriting skills —you can craft clear, compelling messaging that resonates with your audience. A test-and-learn approach : you’re analytical, comfortable with limited data, and quick to pivot based on results. A bias for action—you execute rather than over-plan, and you thrive in fast-changing environments. Experience in the US market or marketing to US audiences. Strong communication skills —you can align stakeholders, rally teams, and articulate your ideas effectively. You enjoy: Taking full ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Building from scratch —you’re excited by new markets and figuring things out on the go. Being hands-on —you don’t just strategize; you execute, test, and adapt quickly. Iterating and improving —you enjoy launching small experiments, analyzing results, and refining tactics. Collaborating across teams —you work closely with product, sales, and creative teams to get things done. Coaching stakeholders on marketing best practices and sharing insights. Managing budgets and resources efficiently to maximize results. Making an impact —your work directly shapes how AMBOSS enters and grows in the PA student market.
