What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
* Project management in the area of Global Operations, Transfer & Integration Management, focusing on transfer and integration activities of pharmaceuticals while adhering to cGMP guidelines.
* Establishment and management of cross-functional project teams for the transfer and integration of pharmaceuticals into the Grünenthal Group.
* Single and multi-project planning including resource and budget planning and tracking as well as definition of short and long-term goals/KPIs.
* Creation and maintenance of project master plans, timelines, roadmaps, budgets, and an overview of important decision milestones.
* Responsible for achieving milestones relevant to decisions while adhering to budget, quality, and time aspects.
* Coordination with Business Development, Patents, Working Groups, etc., to maintain alignment between Global Operations and the Network strategy.
* Participation in the establishment and creation of pharmaceutical-technical and regulatory documents.
* Support of the product range throughout the entire life cycle, including troubleshooting in production and overall responsibility for transfer activities.
* Planning and coordination of the production of clinical trial samples if required for the transfer and manufacture of commercial products.
* Technical and quality assessment of external partners for the transfer and manufacture of medicinal products.
* Process engineering advice on production and testing of new technologies.
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
* University degree (PhD preferred but not mandatory) in natural sciences, preferably in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
* International Certification in Project Management (e.g., IPMA or PMI).
* Many years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Pharmacist in formulation development, manufacturing, and quality control, with strong GMP knowledge & project management expertise.
* Ability to understand complex processes and translate them to stakeholders.
* Ability to navigate challenges with emotional intelligence, fostering a positive work environment.
* Understanding of how local business connects with overall Grünenthal business.
* Documenting, planning, and budget tracking abilities according to our PMTO framework.
* Flexibility to work during project phases “on site” (sending or receiving site).
* Communication skills to actively seek to understand others' objectives and points of view.
* Knowledge about pharmaceutical technology, manufacturing processes, and analytical procedures.
* Experience in working with international project teams.
* Excellent English skills (verbal and written).
* Excellent IT and project & process management skills.
